More about the Florida Strawberry Festival
The festival began in 1930. Brain child of the Plant City Lions Club, that wanted to celebrate the harvest of strawberries. In 1948, the American Legion Post #26 gave life to the event, when the Florida Strawberry Festival went on a six-year hiatus because of World War II. The Lions Club and other civic organizations have participated in the Festival ever since.

St. Augustine ends 2018 with a spectacular finale for art & craft lovers. The St. Augustine Art Association presents the 53rd annual Art & Craft Festival, which will be held at Francis Field on Saturday and Sunday.

This outdoor festival welcomes all local and tourist art lovers to browse and celebrate vendors work. This event is great for Christmas gifts.

The festivals artwork will feature paintings, pottery, jewelry, glassware, sculptures, fiber art, photography, and fine hand-crafted creations…

There will be a Kids Zone, which will allow the young ones to create their own masterpieces; also, a visit from Santa Claus on Sunday at 1pm.

There’ll also be international foods, music, beer and wine.

Ocala Jockey Club International Three-day Event

The Ocala Jockey Club 3-Day International Event is a stepping stone to riders seeking to qualify for 4* competitions around the world. The Individual Bronze Medal rider from the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Phillip Dutton, competed at the 2017 Event, indicating the caliber of competition to expect here.

Along with big horse racing, there is another spectacle to wonder – big hats! The Florida sunshine is so bright we need glamorous hats to show off.  If you are into modern and hip styles, show off what you’ve got. And if odd and weird is what strikes your fancy, we can’t wait to see your creativity at work.  All the fun is slated for Saturday, November 17th. There will be prizes for the top entries!

31st Sponge Docks Seafood Festival, Tarpon Springs
