of the popular holidays that are celebrated in Keystone Heights is Halloween. On the day of Halloween, downtown’s main street is closed off around 5pm, allowing only ghosts, goblins and little unicorns to stroll the strip.
During Halloween the storefronts in downtown setup tables in front of their establishments to hand out candy to hundreds of kids. While downtown is the popular hot spot for Keystone Heights and surrounding cities, the neighborhoods are overrun by families going door-to-door trick or treating.
Also, you see many golf-carts or side-by-sides packed with people trick-or-treating as well…just little more efficiently. You’ll also see people loaded on trailers being pulled by 4x4s or trucks.
